This latest helmet from Bell is the result of a close collaboration with Formula one driver and teams to develop a helmet which meets the demands of professional and club racers alike.
Constructed using military grade carbon fibre composite and energy absorbing materials the shell of the HP7 helmet is incredibly strong yet lightweight and thus exceeds the FIA8860-2010 advanced helmet standard for motorsport. A redesigned visor mechanism locates the pivot points lower on the shell providing better aerodynamics and lower noise levels as well as improving energy absorption. A new visor seal has been adopted to ensure virtually no air or water can penetrate through the eye port. The visor itself is optical grade with varying thickness, exceeding 5mm in the field of vision and sets new standards in vision quality and anti fogging.
The HP7 has a fantastic ventilation system with no less than 14 air intakes and extraction channels strategically placed around the shell for optimum levels of comfort with reduced fatigue.
The helmet interior features a new ergonomic design which uses multiple densities of foam and padding to provide the best possible fit to various head shapes and integrated channels offer provision for installing drinks tubes or communication systems.
The HP7 helmet is available in 2 different designs, either with or without a chin bar duckbill spoiler.
